Mood Management course provides important life skills


Hannah* learnt how to manage stress and anxiety, as well as holistic health and wellbeing skills.



Having personally undertaken the Mood Management course themselves, Jagriti Foundation Trustees have encouraged and supported individuals in need to complete the course, which supports people to develop an awareness of their emotions and how their everyday actions influence these.


Hannah* has nearly completed the Mood Management course and she says it has had a positive impact on the way she copes with her personal issues and emotions.


“Mood Management is the best course I’ve ever enrolled in. It teaches you ways to work through your issues, and there are also opportunities for a group environment so you can learn and work together with others.


“You don’t feel like you are alone, or that you are the only one with struggles. It’s really powerful having a safe environment to share your truth.”


Hannah found the course content extremely valuable.


“Learning how to manage stress and anxiety was really helpful. We were taught overall life and health and wellbeing skills. This included ways to take care of ourselves, and recognise what can cause us to feel anxious.”


There was one important message in particular that resonated with Hannah.


“I don’t have to feel that I’m alone in this world. I’ve been taught that there are reasons for our emotions, and there are ways to work through them so I don’t have to feel that way.”

Hannah highly recommends the course to others and says that she will not hesitate to do it again.


“I’m considering completing it once a year as a good refresher. It is really good and really enjoyable, so everyone should do it. It doesn’t matter what walk of life you are from, I guarantee that every single person will learn something new each week.”
