Bike to school
For $85 (NZD) you can grow a child’s world from where they can walk – to where they can ride. From the edge of the village… to school.
Jagriti Foundation children live in 21 different villages, some are too far away for a child to walk to school. Other children (as young as three years old) walk up to 16km a day to-and-from school.
In collaboration with the women in the community, bikes were requested to make the journey more viable for their young children.
A bike gives a child the ability to travel farther distances and by riding their bike to-and-from school every day it enables them to take responsibility for their own education.
